Bryson Honjo received his Master’s degree in Kinesiology & Rehabilitation Sciences (MS) with a specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC), registered in the State of Hawaii to counsel injured workers.

Bryson began working with Vocational Management Consultants in early 2016 as an intern before moving into a vocational technician position. During this time, he specialized in job development with VMC's clients. This included: vocational testing utilizing the Career Occupational Preference System, researching Hawaii's Labor Market, creating Job Analysis forms by working with local employers, and instructing clients through the Job Seeking Skills training program. Now, as a vocational rehabilitation specialist, he works closely with clients to help counsel and assist them in returning to suitable and gainful employment.

Previously, Mr. Honjo worked as the graduate assistant for the intramural sports program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Through this position, he was able to gain valuable knowledge about the hiring practices of companies as he would regularly interview, assess, and hire individuals, that applied to work for the program. Additionally, he is a member of the Hawaii Injured Workers Alliance (HIWA), an organization dedicated to supporting injured workers.  He is also a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARPS), a professional organization for private vocational rehabilitation professionals.
